IIF G20 Conference: financial inclusion panel showcases AFI network voices
KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA—The IIF G20 Conference: The G20 Agenda under the Turkish Presidency’s Financial Inclusion and New Technologies session on 8 February 2015 in Istanbul will be moderated by Alfred Hannig, Executive Director at AFI.
The session will also feature Hakan Ateş, President and Chief Executive Officer at DenizBank AS, Jay Collins, Global Corporate and Investment Banking Vice Chairman at Citi, José Manuel González-Páramo, Member of the Board and Chief Officer of Global Economics Regulation and Public Affairs at BBVA.
The event in general will offer a unique forum for leaders in the international financial community to discuss and share perspectives on a range of key G20 agenda topics, including a high priority on financial inclusion along with the growing recognition of the value and impact smart policy can make on the lives of the poor.
The conference will feature a number of senior-level speakers including G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors. In addition to financial inclusion, panel discussions will revolve around the G20 agenda, including inclusive growth and job creation; private sector support for infrastructure investment; SME funding; financial globalization, the regulatory reform agenda and the B20 agenda.
The Financial Inclusion and New Technologies session will take place from 2:30 pm to 3:20 pm.
