These trainings present global and regional trends, frameworks, guidelines within a specific policy area. Core content is provided by members of the AFI network, host institution, AFI staff and invited expert speakers.

The primary goal of Member Trainings is capacity development of the staff of member institutions to assist them in their current roles. The sessions are designed to ensure transfer of knowledge and expertise such that it leads toward policy changes and implementation of those policies.
