Countdown to Maputo: Mozambique to welcome AFI at 2015 GPF
Countdown to Inspiration in Maputo! Are you ready for GPF 2015?
Just over a week remains before the start of this year’s AFI Global Policy Forum (GPF), which is being held under the theme of ‘Inspiring Innovation to Advance Inclusion’. Banco de Mozambique and AFI are in the final stages of preparation as the city of Maputo expects to welcome more than 500 participants for AFI’s annual flagship event at the Joaquin Chissano International Conference Center.
Along with AFI’s membership of policymakers and regulators, the 2015 GPF will also feature special exhibits and sessions from the network’s Private-Public Dialogue (PPD) platform, including MasterCard, Visa Inc., GSMA and BBVA. The addition of the PPD platform, combined with the senior representatives expected from international, regional and local financial inclusion leadership organizations will make this the largest and most diverse GPF in AFI’s history.
The public portion of the 2015 GPF begins on 3 September, with Madame Graça Machel DBE, Founder and Patron of New Faces, New Voices, set to give the keynote address.
As with previous GPF’s the main plenary sessions will be livecast out to a global audience. Those interested in the latest financial inclusion developments can follow along with our live streaming video.
