“Bank of Tanzania is an active member of the AFI network, having attended seven capacity building events in 2018. The central bank is a member of six working groups and has chaired several of their sub-groups. Among its completed Maya Declaration targets is having in place effective data integrity for measuring and monitoring progress of financial inclusion, in line with AFI’s core set of indicators. It is a principal member of the AFI network that joined in February 2010.
