Banque Centrale du Congo

Banque Centrale du Congo joined AFI in October 2010 as a principal member. It has joined five working groups and was rated “most engaged” in 2018. With a grant from AFI, the central bank has also advanced agent and mobile banking, helping boost financial inclusion rates to almost 35 percent in 2017 from 5 percent in 2010.
